Laura Trott MBE (born 7 December 1984)[1] is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury since 2024. Trott was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sevenoaks at the 2019 general election.
Trott was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Work and Pensions until November 2023, when she was named the Chief Secretary to the Treasury in a cabinet reshuffle during the Rishi Sunak ministry.
